CASCA Archive, CASCA
CASCA Archive is an archive of graphic design and visual culture from North East, Brazil, spanning from the 1950s to today. The Graphic Design and Visual Culture Archive of Northeast Brazil is an initiative by Alagoas-born designer and art director Victor Yves, created out of the difficulty of finding visual archives from the Brazilian Northeast available online.
This is a collaborative virtual archive dedicated to gathering, preserving, and sharing the rich visual production of Northeast Brazil, spanning from the 1950s to today.
The collection includes posters, record covers, books, publications, packaging, signage, typography, cordel prints, photographs of graphic works, process materials, interviews, oral histories, articles, and essays. It also connects to other relevant archives and cultural initiatives.
